Eisteddfod Proclamation Information

With only a few days to go until the proclamation ceremony at Caldicot Castle, and with preparations in full swing, we have included some useful information for anyone intending on visiting during this historic event.

• Registration for Marshals/Volunteers will be at 9:30 in Caldicot Town Centre
• The Market, activities and music will start in the town centre from 10:00
• The procession will leave Caldicot town centre at about 14:15 and make its way down Church Road, before entering the Castle.
• The Proclamation Ceremony will start inside Caldicot Castle at 15:00
• Refreshments will be available from a marquee inside Caldicot Castle
• Please remember that road closures are in place during the procession from the town centre to the Castle.
